چکیده

Abstract All-dielectric nanoarrays have strong electromagnetic resonances with various interesting applications and are tuned by adjusting their geometrical parameters. However, optical properties permanently encoded during fabrication. This study presents robust dynamically tunable all-dielectric nanoresonators for controllable, reversible, reproducible color filtering. Our design uses an array of TiO 2 nanodiscs embedded in a transparent, stretchable polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) membrane exhibits narrow spectral response due to Mie magnetic electric dipole hybridized the lattice modes. By mechanically stretching PDMS membrane, pitch was increased location altered. Additionally, optically asymmetric structure fabricated partially embedding PDMS. Thus, magnitude Rayleigh anomaly diffraction, which could interrupt resonances, reduced. has sharp, frequency-tunable visible spectrum, we demonstrated dynamic tunability metasurfaces.

Multicolor patterning using holographic woodpile photonic crystals at visible wavelengths.

High-quality woodpile structures with photonic band gaps in the visible wavelength range were fabricated using a single prism holographic lithography technique. Woodpile structures were prepared to have a rod diameter of 160 nm, a lateral periodicity of 240 nm, and an axial periodicity of 300 nm, which is the smallest feature size for three-dimensional nanopatterned structures. A multicolor pat...

Dynamic behaviour of concrete containing aggregate resonant frequency

The need to design blast resistant civilian structures has arisen due to aggressor attacks on many civilian structures around the world. Achieving vibration and wave attenuation with locally resonant metamaterials has attracted a great deal of consideration due to their frequency dependent negative effective mass density. In this paper, metaconcrete, a new material with exceptional properties i...

A comparison of laser-induced retinal damage from infrared wavelengths to that from visible wavelengths

Corneal, lenticular, and retinal damage have been observed following exposures to a laser emitting in the near-infrared wavelength range (Nd:Y AG, 1.318 ~m). Ocular damage thresholds are much higher than for visible wavelengths. However, it was found that infrared (IR) exposures may result in multiple damage sites throughout the ocular medium and retina; that exposure sites which initially appe...

Precise Measurement of Lunar Spectral Irradiance at Visible Wavelengths

We report a measurement of lunar spectral irradiance with an uncertainty below 1 % from 420 nm to 1000 nm. This measurement uncertainty meets the stability requirement for many climate data records derived from satellite images, including those for vegetation, aerosols, and snow and ice albedo. It therefore opens the possibility of using the Moon as a calibration standard to bridge gaps in sate...
